Toni Braxton was hospitalized recently stemming from complications with her lupus illness, forcing her to postpone two California shows that were originally scheduled. However, she still plans to continue the rest of her tour starting October 12 in Detroit.

“I am so excited about going back on the road and seeing all of my wonderful fans and friends,” Braxton commented in a statement  “Everyone’s life is complicated and this is just a condition that I live with.”
The songstress has been suffering from lupus since 2010, Braxton was however released from the hospital earlier this week and is currently taking some time out in the comfort of her own house.
A rep from her camp said, “Toni is resting at home and she is fine. She was in an L.A. hospital for a few days, being treated for her Lupus. She has been released and starts rehearsals for her upcoming tour this week.”
The rep added, “She was not in serious condition, though Lupus is a serious disease and must be monitored at all times.”
We wish all the best of health Toni.
