Davido, MC Galaxy and Eddy Kenzo have all scored a feature soundtrack on the Disney’s Queen of Katwe.

The movie, which stars Nigerian actor David Oyelowo and Kenyan award winning actress Lupita Nyong’o, which also sees Alicia Keys writing and recording a song titled ‘Back to life’ for the film.

The songs sampled in the film are: ‘Sekem‘ by MC Galaxy, ‘Mbilo Mbilo’ by Ugandan artist Eddy Kenzo’ and ‘Skelewu’ by Davido.
‘Queen of Katwe’ is a 2016 American biographical sports drama film, which portrays the life of Phiona Mutesi, a Ugandan chess genius from Katwe who becomes a Woman Candidate Master after her performances at World Chess Olympiads.
Walt Disney Pictures and ESPN Films produce the film, and it is set for a limited release in North America on September 23, 2016, followed by a general theatrical release on September 30.
